Reality > Cleveland, Ohio
When
I was fifteen, my mother decided she had just about enough of
me, and sent me to go live with my father in Cleveland. Having
been allocated to the dregs of my high school's social hierarchy
through a combination of fate and my own incompetence, I was eager
for a change of scenery.
What
ensued was a three-year period that left an indelible mark on
my life: I began to find strength through academia; started playing
football; made a few tremendous friends; and continued to struggle
socially. Eight years later, it is still difficult to express
the angst I felt dealing with the social environment at Hawken.
That's
why I decided to write it all down and share it with the world.
