Drift Reality > Iran

After leaving Sri Lanka, I journeyed to Iran, which is where my Mother was born.

Growing up, Iran had always meant to me a number of things: warm, friendly people who talk about you behind your back, numerous social events with music and dancing, materialistic posturing taken to an epic level, intelligence, sensitivity, compassion, excessive emotion and pride, and delicious food.

After visiting Iran, my mind didn't really change too much.

The content in this section is drawn from two phases of my life: one, the thoughts and video from when I actually visited Iran; and two, my thoughts and video from when I re-visited Iran through two brothers who are the subjects for a documentary I have been working on.

I hope you enjoy.
