Poem - thank you, I'll have to remember that because I am quite frequently told to "grow up" by others.

Marisa - great to hear from you! I remember listening to a lecturer over at an Entrepreneurs forum in Monaco a couple of years back talk about his litany of failures - and how he transformed each one into something positive. It was really inspirational for me, this idea that really successful people find ways of locating opportunities in what most people think of as failures.

I suppose I feel the same way and assume you do as well from your comment! Thanks for the Birthday wishes.

No matter what your age may be, I believe that there must be some order to this chaos we call ‘life’. The majority of what happens in our life is the result of our choices and the rest is the sum of chance, luck and even fate. But if we are truly determined in achieving something there is very little that can stand in our way. What I am trying to say is what you call ‘failures’ are not truly ‘failures’ but choices and events that are part of your destiny. In my eyes they are not failures at all, but rather events that have made you who you are today, and will guide you on your journey of life. Sorry for being so idealistic but this is truly what I believe…

Btw- I want to wish you a very belated happy birthday!

I thought turning 30 was tragic. I got over it quick and then realized I was turning 35. Now that was tragic, until I got carded for cigarettes.

The best part of being 35? If anyone tells you to grow up you've earned the right to pop 'em one. Just a lil' som'in-som'in to look forward to. ;)
