Nairobi, Kenya - Home

I visited Nairobi for two weeks towards the end of the Summer of 2003. My visit was funded by a USAID grant that was directed at helping African media professionals to understand how to use the Internet to communicate.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Safari Park Hotel, which boasted one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. There were other things I remember from my trip, like watching two lions eating an ostriche or getting a chance to taste zebra at a restaurant named "Carnivore," but boy that sushi was good.

I actually shot a lot of footage on safari in Masai Mara. If I ever get off my lazy ass, I might edit it and post it on the site.
