Drift Reality > South Korea

After graduating from University in the Spring of 2000, I was left wondering what to do with my life and my future. For some reason, the default choices for most competent graduates who have intentions on being upwardly mobile - law shool/medical school/business school - did not really appeal to me.

I had always had an interest in learning more about my Father's culture and it was this that really drew me to accepting a position at a Hawkwan in Seoul, South Korea.

Throughout my nine month stint in Seoul, South Korea, I experienced a range of emotions more vivid than anything I had been used to up to this point in time and this was in no small part due to the hyper-real nature of the city itself.

I invite you to examine some of my writings and video from my time in Seoul, South Korea.
