April
17 - Well, I'm off to San Diego for BestFest
2003. I won't be presenting anything at this film festival,
only doing press work for it and hoping to make some good contacts
out there. I'm going to take some dubs of my work out there just
in case.
After
several weeks of plotting out the structure for my upcoming documentary
on Sri Lanka, and then on a whim deciding to do a political documentary
on Iran, and then switching back to my idea of Sri Lanka, I've
decided that thinking is just messing everything up and instead,
I've just started editing.
Unfortunately,
I won't be able to do any work on the films for a week and a half
while I'm in San Diego, but I'm going to take that as an opportunity
to try and do more outreach in order to get more exposure for
the site and the work that is currently up. In addition, I'll
be drafting content for both films (Sri Lanka and Iran) so when
I get back, it will just be a matter of sitting down and getting
my ass in gear.
